During your use of the GrowPhotos software and services, we will collect and process relevant information in accordance with the principles of legality, fairness, and necessity. The information we collect and its purposes are as follows:
1. Information collection and scope of use
a) When you use the network services of this software, your current login may collect your mobile phone number for account login and security verification. The software also automatically receives and records basic device information, including but not limited to the language used, access date and time, and software/hardware characteristics. To support statistics and data analysis, we may also generate or collect a user ID (UUID) associated with your account or device.
b) When you use GrowPhotos for photo import, capture, organization, classification, and recognition, we will request access to your camera, photos/albums, and storage permissions after obtaining your authorization. The photos you choose are primarily used for browsing, organizing, tagging, and recognition on your local device.
2. Use of information
a) After obtaining your authorization, the software uses the relevant permissions to provide album management, photo organization, on-device recognition, and tagging features. We may also use the user ID (UUID) for statistics, feature evaluation, and data analysis to help improve the product experience. Unless otherwise clearly stated and separately authorized by you, we do not upload your original photo content to the server, and photo recognition and analysis are completed locally on your device by default.
3. Information disclosure
a) This software will not disclose your information to untrusted third parties.
b) We may disclose to third parties or administrative/judicial authorities as required by law or by administrative or judicial requests.
c) If you violate relevant Chinese laws, regulations, or rules, disclosure to third parties may be required.
4. Information storage and transfer
In accordance with laws and regulations, we store the personal information collected and generated during operations within the territory of the People's Republic of China. Account-related information may be stored on the servers of this software and/or its affiliates, while the photo content you authorize remains on your local device by default.
We retain your personal information only for the period necessary to provide GrowPhotos and its services, including your mobile phone number, basic registration information, and user ID (UUID). Photos selected by you for recognition and organization are processed locally by default and are not uploaded to the server. If you cancel your account, we will delete the server-side personal information related to your account accordingly, unless otherwise required by laws or regulations.
We attach great importance to the security of your personal information and will take reasonable security measures (including technical and administrative measures) to protect your personal information from improper use or unauthorized access, disclosure, use, modification, damage, loss, or leakage. We use encryption, anonymization, and other reasonable and feasible measures that are no lower than industry standards to protect your personal information, and we use security mechanisms to prevent malicious attacks. We implement strict data use and access controls to ensure that only authorized personnel can access your personal information, and we conduct security audits of data and technology in a timely manner.
We will not share your personal information with any company, organization, or individual other than our affiliates, except in the following circumstances: Share with explicit consent: After obtaining your explicit consent, we will share your personal information with other parties. We may share your personal information externally as required by laws and regulations or by mandatory requests from government authorities. We will review the matter as soon as possible and respond after verifying your identity. You may disable camera, photos/albums, storage, and related permissions invoked by GrowPhotos at any time. In the GrowPhotos client app, tap [Settings] in the lower-right corner and go to [Permissions] to disable related authorizations. We support account cancellation at any time. You can do so by tapping [Settings], [General Settings], and then [Delete Account] on the personal information page. After account cancellation, we will stop providing products or services and delete the relevant personal information upon your request, unless otherwise required by laws or regulations.
To provide better services, the GrowPhotos software and related services will be updated and changed from time to time. We will revise this Privacy Policy as appropriate. Such revisions form part of this Privacy Policy and have the same effect as this Privacy Policy. Without your explicit consent, we will not reduce the rights you are entitled to under the currently effective Privacy Policy. After updates, we will publish the new version in the GrowPhotos client app and on the official website, and we will notify you of the updates in an appropriate way before the updated terms take effect so that you can understand the latest version. If you continue to use our services, you agree to the revised policy; however, if the update involves collecting personal sensitive information such as your address book, contact details, or location, we will again obtain your explicit consent in a prominent manner. This Privacy Policy applies to all services provided by Suzhou Haoqiu Technology Co., Ltd. and its affiliates, including the GrowPhotos client and website. It does not apply to third-party products or services that have separate privacy policies and are not included in this Privacy Policy. Your use of such third-party services (including any personal information you provide to those third parties) is subject to those third parties' terms and privacy policies (not this Privacy Policy). Please carefully read their terms. Please protect your personal information and provide it to third parties only when necessary. The GrowPhotos services described in this Privacy Policy may vary depending on your phone model, system version, and app version. The actual product and services are subject to the GrowPhotos software and related services you use.
1. Local album and recognition capabilities
After obtaining your authorization, GrowPhotos accesses the system photo library, camera, and necessary local storage permissions for importing, browsing, organizing, classifying, and recognizing photos. The photo content you choose is processed locally on your device by default and is not uploaded to the server. Recognition and analysis are primarily completed on-device.
We will not use your original photo content for cloud-based recognition, training, or sharing without your separate consent.
2. AndroidSupportLibraryCompat
Uses phone storage permission.
The app caches certain necessary data in local storage to load album information and recognition results more quickly the next time you use it. Cached data is primarily stored on your local device to improve the user experience.
